How to Get the Map

Obtained from Fariba

PoP The Lost Crown - Obtain Map From Fariba

The in-game map, also known as the Eye of the Wanderer, can be obtained from Fariba, who appears after activating the first Wak-Wak Tree in the Lower City.

You'll immediately get the map after a brief dialogue conversation with her, and you can use it right away to explore and uncover grayed out areas of Mount Qaf.

How to Open the Map

Press the View Button on Xbox

PoP The Lost Crown - Eye of the Wanderer

To open the map using the Eye of the Wanderer, simply press the View button on Xbox. This brings up an aerial map view of your current location and surroundings in-game!

Can Only See Areas You've Been To

The in-game map only lets you see areas that you have already explored. This means that all sections that you have not yet been to will be completely grayed out.

Buy Map Pieces to Reveal Undiscovered Areas

Purchasing map pieces from Fariba will reveal all undiscovered sections of an area. We highly recommend buying these immediately as this saves you time in having to manually uncover the map yourself.

Add Markers for Reference

Markers can be placed on your in-game map for your personal reference of important locations and items.

This is particularly useful for players who are not using Guided Mode, since the game will not automatically mark important locations for them such as inaccessible paths.

Limited to Only 100 Markers

You can only place a limit of 100 Markers, so do be mindful of how many markers you have already plotted down on your map, and be sure to remove those that you no longer have any use for.

Use Memory Shards to Remember Locations

Memory Shards

You can make use of Memory Shards to capture in-game screenshots and use them to remember locations that were previously blocked or inaccessible for you to go back later on once you unlock the ability to pass through them.

How to Use a Memory Shard

To use a Memory Shard, press the down directional arrow on the D-Pad of your controller. After that, open the map and you'll find a Blue-Eyed icon.

Selecting this icon shows the captured image, as well as the specific name of the area that it has been taken at.
