How to Beat Erlik

The following tips can help you beat Erlik in battle.

1. Parry Charge Attack
2. Avoid Sludge Projectiles
3. Dodge Tusk Swing
4. Dodge Back Kick
5. Use Athra Surge

Parry Charge Attack

Erlik will charge at you during battle, which can be anticipated when he either stomps on the ground or roars loudly. Parry this attack when able to avoid being hurled into the air like a ragdoll.

How to Parry

Avoid Sludge Projectiles (Unstoppable Attack)

Erlik hurls sludge projectiles by spewing it out of his mouth. Avoid these projectiles by sliding under him when he initiates the attack. This will also give you a chance to catch him off guard and counterattack.

Dodge Tusk Swing (Unstoppable Attack)

Erlik will often try to initiate an attack where it swings its head on the side, then snaps it back to the front to unleash damage with its tusks.

Be sure to anticipate this when Erlik's eyes turn red and its head turns sideways.

How to Dodge

Dodge Back Kick (Unstoppable Attack)

Be careful not to linger around the back of Erlik. It will often initiate an attack where it uses its hind legs to kick you in the air. Begin to dodge when its eyes glow red so you could avoid being damaged.

Use Athra Surge

If you can spare an Athra Surge Gauge, try using an Athra Surge against Erlik to deal significant damage to its health.

Charge Attack

Erlik rushes toward you to attack when it roars loudly or stomps on the ground.

Erlik will turn its head sideways, then swing it back to attack you with its mighty tusks.

Hind Legs Kick (Unstoppable Attack)

There are times where Erlik wll kick you with its hind legs when you're located on the back.
