With shielded enemies being invincible from front attacks, it may pose a challenge for Sargon in figuring out the proper strategy to engage and defeat them effectively. Here are the many ways you can fight shielded and defeat them successfully:
If you time your block to a shielded enemy's attack, it will lead to a succesful parry and leave them in a state of vulnerability. Seize this opportunity to land hits and defeat the enemy.
It is important to study the attack pattern of the shielded enemy in order to land a successful parry.
Maintain distance from the enemy and launch a charged attack to destroy the enemy's shield. Once their shield is gone, you will be able to land frontal attacks to the enemy and fight them normally.
You can perform a Charged Attack by holding down the attack button and releasing it after the charging animation. Caution must be practiced as performing a Charged Attack does not make you invulnerable from enemy attacks so it is advised to maintain distance from the enemies.
A shielded enemy's weak point is attacking them from behind. Since frontal attacks are no good, it is a good idea to try and attack them from the back. You can perform a dodge to get towards their back and attack them from behind.
You may also attempt to jump and get towards their back from there.
Athra Surges are Sargon's ultimate attack using this may effectively kill shielded enemies or, at the very least, dismantle their protective shields.
You can perform an Athra Surge by holding down the guard button and selecting which Athra Surge you want to execute. Do note that you should have the right amount of Athra Surge gauge charge before you can execute the Athra Surge you want.
