Upgrade your weapons in exchange for Time Crystals and Azure Damascus Ingots at Kaheva's Forge in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Learn how to upgrade weapons and what these upgrades do for your weapons in our guide!
How to Upgrade Weapons
Head to Kaheva’s Forge Located at the Haven
Kaheva's Forge can be found in the Haven located on the middle portion of the Lower City Map. Kaheva's Forge can only be unlocked after acquiring the Bow of Menolias.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to unlock the forge:
- Acquire the Bow of Menolias during the main storyline progress of the game.
- Head to the Haven located at the middle portion of the Lower City Map.
- Located northwest of The Mage is a glowing passageway placed on an elevated platform.
- Interact with the passageway to enter Kaheva's Forge.
- Start a conversation with Kaheva to begin your upgrades.
Purchase Weapon Upgrades at Kaheva's Forge
Players can purchase upgrades for Sargon's weapons at Kaheva's Forge located in the Lower City of Mount Qaf in exchange for Time Crystals.
Interact with her to view and browse through all your currently available weapon upgrades, as well as how much Time Crystals and Ores you'll need to spend!

What Does Upgrading Weapons Do?
Increases Base Stats of a Weapon
Upgrading your weapons improves its overall stats, such as increasing how much damage it inflicts against enemies.
You'll encounter stronger enemies and difficult bosses as you make your way through the cursed city of Mount Qaf, so it's a good idea to check back with Kaheva to see if you can upgrade your weapons!
Best Upgrades to Prioritize
Prioritize Upgrading Qays and Layla First
We recommend upgrading Qays and Layla before you consider other upgrades since these are the main weapons you'll be using in the game.
Your trusty blades will help give you a fighting chance against stronger enemies and deadlier foes if you choose to prioritize their upgrades.
Consider Upgrading The Bow of Menolias After Your Swords
The Bow of Menolias comes in handy when dealing with hovering hazards during boss battles and executing long range attacks when needed.
While we recommend upgrading the bow/chakram, we caution you to upgrade Menolias' Quiver as arrows are replenishable resource and can be acquired from defeating enemies.

Upgrading Menolias' Quiver May Come In Handy
Menolias' Quiver can be very handy in allowing you to perform more range attacks using the Bow of Menolias.
Consider upgrading Menolias' Quiver last, since we recommend you prioritize upgrading both your swords and bow to increase your damage output in battle.
