Locations Explored | Sacred Archives Upper City West |

Bosses Fought | Vahram |
Time Power Unlocked | Rush of the Simurgh |
Upgrade Unlocked | - |
Rush of the Simurgh will be your first Time Power that you unlock in your journey. The Rush of the Simurgh will allow you to reach farther distances by letting you dash in mid-air.
Return to the area with the giant statue then take the middle door to the left. With Rush of the Simurgh, you'll now be able to jump through the spike traps. Continue heading west down this path
Over the course of this path, there will be platforms that retract themselves on areas with spikes. Be sure to time your jumps to land on these platforms safely.
After passing through the spike area, you'll reach an area where you have to use the poles to jump upward. Before doing so, you can interact with an item on the left side of the area to obtain Missive 1.
After passing through the area with the poles, you'll find Anahita with the abducted prince. After a short dialogue, defeat the enemies that appear then head left. Successfully defeating all enemies rewards you with the Blade Dancer Amulet.
After reuniting and joining Vahram, continue heading left to reach the Sacred Archives. Continue heading left and upward.
After you pass through the alchemists and continue going upward, be sure to rebuild the homa statue as this can function as your teleportation station to navigate the map much easier!
After unlocking the said Homa Statue, you'll want to focus on heading East and then passing through the enemies and hurdles. The path will be linear until you reach a lift. Use it to reach the northern part of the Sacred Archives.
After using the lift, head west then upward until you see areas with bells and semi-transparent platforms. Shoot the bells to make the transparent platforms solid and use them to traverse the puzzle.
Along the way, you'll encounter a Wak-wak Tree and a few more platforms that require bells to solidify the platforms. Continue following the linear path until you reach Upper City West.
Reaching the Upper City West means you've finally cleared the Sacred Archives. Continue exploring the area to find the abducted prince.
You'll encounter some enemies like harpies and the usual enemies. You can defeat them or just run through until you reach the next room on the right.
After entering the room on the right side, you'll encounter a rotating device with platforms attached to them. Use it to reach the upper area then head left.
Once you enter to the right side, you'll immediately encounter a room with several rotating gears. Use the poles to navigate this puzzle and eventually reach the next room in the upper area once again.
You'll encounter two gyphon statues with a pole attached to them. Shoot the white gear in their center to make them move sideways then use the pole to jump higher.
In this area, you'll want to use the right pole first then unlock the platform that goes down just above the white gear. Once done, use the left pole to lower the 2nd platform then traverse the puzzle again using the shortcut to get to the 2nd platform on time.
Jump up the platform above then head right to use the checkpoint then head left to further explore the Upper City. Continue through until you encounter multiple assassins. Defeat them then use the lift to reach the upper area then continue heading right to reach your next destination.
After the events of the cutscene, you'll be put down in a battle against Vahram. Defeat Vahram to complete the current chapter!
Rush of the Simurgh will be one of the most vital Time Power that you'll use not just for this chapter but for a lot of parts in the game. Start getting used to this Time Power as it's useful not just for puzzles but even against normal enemies and boss fights!
