Time Crystals can be farmed by defeating enemies and bosses, and completing side quests and Artaban's challenges.
Time Crystals drop from regular enemies in the game. You can steadily gain Time Crystals by just progressing through the story and exploring the map.
When Sargon heals at a Wak-Wak Tree, enemies respawn in the surrounding area. Clearing the map of enemies then respawning them using this is a good way to repeatedly farm Time Crystals.
Bosses in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown drop Time Crystals upon their defeat. Unlike regular enemies, bosses drop more Time Crystals than regular enemies, so defeating them is a good farming source.
Side Quests give a sizable amount of Time Crystals as their reward completion, so it is recommended to complete them to gain more crystals. In addition, you can also gain other rewards like Soma Tree petals.
Artaban is an Immortal who has become too injured to continue their quest to find the Prince of Persia. He aids Sargon on his journey by teaching him combat techniques.
Each training challenge will award Sargon with Time Crystals, so make sure to complete all of them to obtain all Time Crystal rewards.
Time Crystals will mainly be spent on purchasing amulets and upgrades, upgrading Sargon's weapons, and revealing the map with Fariba's help.
Upon speaking to Grandmother the Mage, you can buy amulets and health potion upgrades from the Magi Emporium using Time Crystals.
At Kaheva's Forge, you can avail her services which will allow you to upgrade your weapons at the cost of Time Crystals.
Fariba's services revolve around helping you traverse Mount Qaf. She will reveal a section of Sargon's map by paying her a small amount of Time Crystals.
