1. Chase after the Old Man in the Depths
2. Defeat Alternate Sargon

Chase after the Old Man in the Depths

After getting into the depths, the Old Man has stolen Sargon's eye. Chase him down in The Depths to retrieve the eye!

Head East and Traverse the Area

After gaining control back, head eastward and follow the linear path. Be wary of the poisonous areas as these will deal damage if you stand on them. After passing through the area with the rotating spikes, you can also head up to accept the “Motherly Love” side quest.

Drop Down on the West Side Area then Continue Heading West

After passing through the rotating spikes, head east until you fall from a platform then continue dropping downwards. After seeing a short cutscene, head west.

Drop Down the Edges From the Area with Rotating Spikes in the Center

After heading west, you'll encounter a slope that leads to two rotating spikes in the center. Fall and stay near the edges to pass through the area. After reaching the bottom area, head east to find your first Wak-Wak tree checkpoint.

From the Wak-Wak Tree, Head South-East

Immediately head east after resting on the Wak-Wak tree. Continue heading southeast and take the paths that lead downward.

Use Dashes to Navigate Vertical Spike Obstacles

Keep heading southeast until you see a platform with multiple rotating spikes, hang on the edge, and dash to opposite sides to navigate this obstacle. From here, head west and downwards if the opportunity presents itself.

Use the Toxic Mounds as Platforms in the Room that Fills Itself with Toxic Water

After passing through the area with spikes that you can move downward using a lever, you'll reach a room that slowly fills itself with toxic water. Use the toxic mounds that appear while the room fills itself as a platform. Reaching the highest area will allow you to use the lever that removes all the toxins in the room.

Head Downwards then Right to Unlock Your Next Wak-Wak Tree

After removing all the water, head downward to reveal a new path. Descend then head right to find a new Wak-Wak Tree. Rest then head right for a boss fight.

Defeat Alternate Sargon

After reaching the deepest part of the Depth, you'll be pitted against an Alternate Sargon with the same moveset as you have. Defeat him to complete the current chapter!

Avoid the Masked Giant

Along the area, you'll encounter a giant enemy with a big mask. With your current Time Power, it'll be impossible to defeat it. If you encounter it, turn back for now and explore other parts of the area.
