Early in the game, Sargon faces vulnerability without protection, low health, and weak weapons. Buying the best items in the initial parts of the game is crucial.
Amulet holders have the capability of increasing Sargon's amulet capacity. Amulets are acquired through various means in the game, each having different slot counts.
It is best to buy an Amulet Holder early on in the game to equip more amulets as possible and become stronger earlier in the game.
The Amulet Holder costs 240 Time Crystals.
As Sargon during the beginning is very vulnerable due to only having 3 health bars, it is advisable to purchase an additional healing potion as a backup for when the first bottle is depleted.
The first additional Healing Potion costs 500 Time Crystals with the amount increasing every time you buy an upgrade.
Buying Map Pieces from Fariba is essential for easier access to the map. It will help Sargon in identifying unexplored areas and determining where to go next.
Map Pieces costs 50 Time Crystals each.
The Ecbatana Seal Amulet grants Sargon the ability to collect Time Crystals from a distance. This is very useful especially when farming Time Crystals early on in the game.
The Ecbatana Seal Amulet costs 100 Time Crystals.
Soma Tree Petals have the promise to increase Sargon's health bar if four of these are collected. Purchasing one ensures that only three more are needed to be found.

Throughout the game, there are shops where Sargon can buy items and upgrades.
You can buy Items, Amulets, and Item Upgrades from The Mage in the Magi Emporium in exchange for Time Crystals.
The Mage is located in The Haven and is accessible as early as Sargon reaches The Haven.

You can buy Amulets, Amulet Upgrades, and Weapon Upgrades from Kaheva at Kaheva's Forge in exchange for Time Crystals and Ingots. Kaheva's Forge will be accessible after gaining the Bow and Chakram of Menolias.
Fariba appears at multiple places throughout Sargon's quests. You can purchase Map Pieces and Hints from Fariba to help you with your journey.
Note that you cannot buy all map pieces from Fariba as some are located in chests.
You can purchase a Lost Key and Amulets from The Scrapper in the Scrapyard located in Scrapper's Shop in exchange for Xerxes Coins. The Scrapper will be available in the late game when doing The Tiger and the Rat main quest.
