All Time Powers and How to Unlock Them

Allows Sargon to Kick Enemies

Sargon Kicks
While sprinting or dodging, if you press your attack button, Sargon will do a flashy kick which knocks unshielded enemies backwards. Use this to your advantage by sending enemies into spike traps or out of the map.

When sprinting, Sargon will unleash a kick that launches the enemy backwards but if he attacks while sliding, he'll launch kick the enemy upwards instead.

Explore Hidden Areas
Dodging is also an excellent exploration tool. There are areas where Sargon needs to dodge in order to slide through small crevices that contain hidden areas.

Repositions Sargon

Not only does this agile movement protect Sargon from attacks, but it also allows him to move into an advantageous position. This is a good tactic when facing multiple enemies that try to attack Sargon all at once.

Dodging Tips

Master dodging by studying enemy behaviors and learning that unstoppable attacks cannot be parried.

  1. Learn When To Dodge
  2. Utilize Sargon's Kick to Reduce Pressure
  3. Unstoppable Attacks Must Be Dodged

Learn When To Dodge

Swarmed by Enemies
A big part of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's combat is learning when to utilize a dodge and when to parry attacks. Some enemies like those with shields benefit from being parried as it staggers them and breaks their guard.

However, some enemies will attempt to swarm Sargon and this is where dodging becomes important so that Sargon can reposition himself and potentially hit multiple enemies from a better spot.

How to Parry

Utilize Sargon's Kick to Reduce Pressure

Kick To Reduce Pressure
Sargon's kick is a useful ability against unshielded combatants as it allows him to knock them back with staggering force. This attack is useful for reducing pressure, allowing Sargon some breathing room when surrounded by enemies.

Unstoppable Attacks Must Be Dodged

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - Unstoppable Attack
Unstoppable Attacks can be denoted by the flashing red indicator that appears when an enemy is winding up an attack. These are the only attacks in the game that must be dodged to avoid getting hit.

These attacks will go through your parry and deal significant damage, so it is recommended to dodge instead.
