Navigate the Platforming Puzzle

This next area requires you to navigate a platforming puzzle to reach the area where the parrot is located.

You'll need to skillfully time your wall jumps to avoid hitting spike traps, as well as know when to use time powers such as Rush of Simurgh to progress through the area.

Tip 1: Upgrade and Wear the Blessing Amulet

The spike traps on the floating platforms will damage Sargon but not instantly teleport him back to the starting point, so it's a good idea to upgrade and wear the Blessing Amulet so you have more opportunities to recover from a hit when traversing the area.

Keep in mind that falling down the pit of spikes will still teleport Sargon back to the starting point and deplete a full bar of health!

How to Upgrade Amulets

Tip 2: Use Shadow of The Simurgh as Checkpoints

Before attempting to navigate the platforming puzzle, use the Shadow of The Simurgh time power to leave a temporal impression at the start of the area.

In the event that you make a mistake platforming and are about to fall down the pit of spikes, you can simply rewind back to your impression to conserve your health.

You can also leave temporal impressions on floating platforms as a makeshift checkpoint when progressing through the area.

The Parrot is Located on the Right Side of the Area

The parrot is located in the right side of the area and you'll need to reach it so that it can start following you.

You'll need to drop down and wall jump onto the lower platforms to reach the parrot.

Wall Jump Above and Make Your Way Left

Once the parrot starts following you, wall jump to the top of the section and start making your way to the left side of the map.

You'll want to hang on to the platform closest to the left side, carefully sliding down until you can Rush of Simurgh to the next platform.

Make Your Way Back to the Pirate Captain

Head back to the Pirate Captain, making sure you stay near the top to avoid falling down the pit.

Time your Rush of Simurgh carefully to close the distance between each platform. Keep in mind that getting hit by the spike traps on the platforms just causes you to lose health, but falling down the pit will cause the parrot to return to its spot on the right side of the area.

Talk to the Pirate Captain to Receive Your Rewards

Return to the Pirate Captain who will reward you with a Xerxes as well as Time Crystals for your troubles.

The Parrot, however, is less than pleased to return but will mark 4 chests on your map as thanks for bringing it back safely.

you can swallow one of the pirate grunts before you enter the room with the captain in. Then start the quest dialog but choose not to accept. Spit out the enemy you have in the void and start the quest dialog again. You will get frozen but the grunt will attack you knocking you back and re enabling your controls.
