A Broken Heart is an Adventure Quest available in Dragon Quest Treasures. Read on for a detailed walkthrough of the quest and the rewards you get from completing it.

| 1 |  Inspect the broken Heartless Hunter at The Forgotten Factory, southeast of the Snouterhorn station in Paternoggin. |
| 2 |  Find someone who knows about machines. You can find them at the Sweetshade Glade Station in the Maneland. |
| 3 |  Bring 10x Brighten Rocks to Mr. Clapham. Brighten Rocks can be found by looking for greenish rock piles in the Wingswept Moors. |
| 4 |  Bring 10x Enchanted Stones to Mr. Clapham. They can be found by looking for any ice mounds you can find at the Hinterquarters. |
| 5 |  Bring 10x Lucida Shards to Mr. Clapham. You can easily get one by defeating Dune Stalkers available during the day at the Maneland to obtain the Lucida Shards. |
| 6 |  Report back to Mr. Clapham at the Sweetshade Glade station. |
| 7 | Return to the broken Heartless Hunter at The Forgotten Factory near Snouterhorn station to complete the quest. ※You'll have to use Erik to complete the quest! |
Once you finished the quest, the Heartless Hunter will be available to recruit as PR0TEKTER-iK. They will require a single Crude Oil Cordial to be able to recruit. You can get the food by heading to the Maneland and opening a treasure chest inside a giant skeleton's mouth.
The Maneland Map and Monster Locations
To unlock this quest, you'll need to progress through the main story first until you reach the part where you complete 3 of Mr. Euston's requests. Interacting with the Heartless Hunter you previously fought as the boss will automatically start this quest.
