The DioField Chronicle Update 1.20 Released!

Waltaquin Skeletal Dragon

Square Enix officially launched a free major update for The DioField Chronicle on March 6, 2023, bringing it up to version 1.20 and adding new content and modes on all platforms!

The modes include a brand-new mini-campaign, Waltaquin's Story, unlocked after completing Chapter 5 of the main story.

Version 1.20 Update Summary
  • Additional new story content starring Waltaquin Redditch
    • ┗ 5 Additional Story Missions with 5 optional battles
  • New gameplay mechanics, maps, missions and boss
    • ┗ Necromancy Skill Tree Branch for Waltaquin, Behemoth boss fight
  • New equipment and skills
    • ┗ Necromancy Tome equipment for Magickers, along with new skills usable in the main story.
  • New difficulty level and play mode unlocked after completing the game
    • ┗ Very Hard difficulty level for all players, and an extra mode for players who have completed the main story
  • Adjustments to game balance in certain areas.
