How to Fight Longlocks

How to Fight

You can encounter this fight during the Blood and Wine Main Quest: Beyond Hill and Dale.... This fight is also very similar to fighting a Beann'shie.

The best way to deal with Longlocks is to wait for their melee attack and dodge sideways then attack it multiple times before it screams. Once Longlocks screams, it will summon multiple skeleton soldiers to fight for it. When this happens quickly kill the multiple skeleton soldiers in order for Longlocks to reappear.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Specter oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare bombs that can damage multiple enemies at once like the Grapeshot Bomb and the Dancing Star Bomb to quickly kill the summoned skeleton soldiers.

Special Sign Effects

  • Yrden - This can significantly slow down its attacks and allow you to find an opening to strike in between its attacks.
