How to Fight Plague Maidens

How to Fight

Fighting Plague Maidens is almost the same as dealing with either Noonwraiths or Nightwraiths. The best way to deal with Plague Maidens is to get rid of their Plague Clouds first. You can do this by hitting the Plague Clouds with the Igni Sign or striking them with your Silver Sword.

After that, you can fight them normally as you would deal with a Noonwraith or a Nightwraith. Plant Yrden Sign traps on the ground or throw Moon Dust Bombs to force them to become corporeal and attack them with your Silver Sword.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Specter oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare Moon Dust Bombs to force them to become corporeal and Dancing Star Bombs to quickly get rid of the multiple Plague Clouds.

Special Sign Effects

  • Aard - This can knock back the Plague Clouds whenever they are too close to you.
  • Igni - This can be used to burn the Plague Clouds that the Plague Maiden summons.
  • Yrden - This can be use to force the Plague Maiden to become corporeal and attack it with your Silver Sword.
