This skill is mainly used when making a build that focuses on using bombs as the main source of damage. The value of this skill can be seen when it is combined with the skill Efficiency which increases the number of bombs you can carry.
This skill will not affect the bombs that deal no damage unless you have the Pyrotechnics skill equipped which grants damage to non-damage dealing bombs.
If you have a build that is focused on using bombs and maximizing their damage, then you should invest in this skill. Having a skill that doubles the damage of bombs can significantly increase the damage you deal in combat.
