When this skill is equipped the damage from the other bomb fragments can stack on each other. Depending on how you throw the bomb, you can also greatly increase the effective range of the bomb being thrown.
When this skill is used properly, you can easily wipe out a large group of enemies while only having to use a single bomb.
If your build is focused on using bombs as your main source of damage, the you should invest in this skill. The bonuses you get when the bomb separates into fragments are very good considering the amount of investment to unlock this skill.
