How to Beat Fourth Boss Spotlion
- Deflect Purple Orbs
- Press B Repeatedly When a Purple Blob Appears

Deflect Purple Orbs
Spotlion will spew out purple orbs as one of its attacks. You need to deflect these orbs back to Spotlion using Stella's ribbon attacks, either by directly sending it back or using the mirror surfaces of the level to reflect the orb back to Spotlion.
Once Spotlion gets hit with three blue orbs from your reflected attacks, its body will be dismantled and a purple blob will appear.
Press B Repeatedly When a Purple Blob Appears
After hitting Spotlion with three blue orbs, approach the purple blob that will appear from Spotlion's dismantled body and repeatedly press the B button.
You need to do these a total of three times to defeat Spotlion.
Dodge Lasers
After the first purple blob, Spotlion will start using laser attacks which will get reflected by the mirror surfaces around the level. Make sure to stay away from these areas to avoid getting hit.
Defeat Spotlion's Clone
After the second purple orb, Spotlion will summon a clone of itself. Both Spotlion and the clone will launch purple orbs, so try to avoid the projectiles.
Original Spotlion Will Have a Purple Blob
If you want to only focus on the original Spotlion, you can look for the one with the purple blob in its torso.
Defeating the clone will not advance the fight, as you need to hit the original Spotlion.
Use the Heart Charm
If you're having a difficult time beating this boss, you can use the Heart Charm to get three extra hearts. You can turn this on in Sparkle Theater 1F and talking to the Theet near the center of the lobby.
Do note that there are no penalties when using a Heart Charm, so feel free to get extra hearts whenever you want the fight to be easier. You can always turn it off by speaking to the Theet again.

After defeating Spotlion, you'll be able to purchase an Outfit for Peach at the Lobby Shop found in 1F. This dress costs 500 Coins.

Beating Spotlion will grant you access to the Sparkle Theater's fifth floor, where more levels are located.

Sparkle Gems
After you finish the game, you can rebattle Spotlion in the 4F lobby. There are three challenges you can attempt during the rematch, and you can get Sparkle Gems upon clearing them.
How to Unlock Spotlion Boss Battle
Complete All 4F Levels
You need to complete all levels in the fourth floor of the Sparkle Theater lobby before you can battle Spotlion.
Once you clear all four levels, a door will appear in the middle of the lobby, which is where you can start the boss fight.
All Sparkle Theater Second Floor (2F) Levels
Give Stella 25 Sparkle Gems
You also need to give Stella 25 Sparkle Gems for her to be able to open the door and start the actual boss battle.
