Princess Peach Showtime - Saving the Game

Princess Peach: Showtime! uses an autosave feature which saves the game and all the collectibles you obtained between each level you play.

You must complete a Level, or unlock/purchase a new Outfit or Collectible in the Sparkle Theater to trigger the Autosave.

Manual Save Is Not an Option

Clearing a Level or Unlocking a New Achievement/Purchase are the Only Ways to Save

Unfortunately there is no save option in the menu, so you will need to complete a level in its entirety in order to trigger an Autosave.

Collectibles and Saving

Collecting Items Does Not Save the Game Automatically

Princess Peach Showtime - Sparkle Gems

Sparkle Gems and Ribbons obtained within a level only count as collected when you finish the level after obtaining them. Leaving a level after obtaining a Sparkle Gem or Dress Ribbon for the first time will not save it as collected.

so you need to complete a level for it to save? we went so far and it just went back to the v start
