How to Beat A Kung Fu Tale (Kung Fu-1) Boss
Press B to Counter
Early in the level, you will be introduced to the simple gimmick behind the boss: you just need to counter its punches and kicks via the quick time event.
During the boss fight, pay close attention to the shrinking circles. Once you hear a kling sound and the circle glows, press the B button to counter the Kung Fu Grape's attacks.
Avoid Spamming Attacks
You won't be able to damage the Kung Fu Grape boss as it will automatically keep blocking your attacks and will slow down your progress. Simply wait for the boss' attacks and counter it.
Attack Boss When It is Dizzy
After countering its attacks a couple of times, the boss will launch a flurry of kick where you need to counter each one after the other.
After blocking each attack, the Kung Fu Grape will become dizzy. This is you chance to punish the boss and launch your own flurry of attacks to defeat it!

How to Beat A Kung Fu Legend (Kung Fu-2) Boss
Press B to Deflect Projectiles
In this level, the Kung Fu Grape will start using projectiles to attack Peach. The same tactic with the punches and kicks also apply here, as you just need to deflect these attacks with the B button.
You'll be able to see the boss charge up its projectiles. Once it launches a projectile, wait for a kling sound and for the shrinking circle to glow then press B to deflect it.
You need to do this a couple of times. The boss will also launch a barrage of projectiles where you need to counter each one consecutively.
Counter the Boss' Final Attack
After launching projectiles, the boss will charge towards Peach and will deliver a barrage of attacks. Counter each move with the B button.
When the boss becomes dizzy, attack it again to defeat it.

How to Beat The Dark School & the Twisted Fist (Kung Fu-3) Boss
Defeat the Clones
The Kung Fu Grape in this level will create two clones of itself, and both clones will surround Peach on both sides. You need to counter their attacks and defeat the like the previous bosses.
Boss on the Right
Match your timing with the circles and press the B button corresponding to the number of circles that appear.
Boss on the Left
Just like the boss on the right but you also have to match the jump attack with the boss to successfully stun him.
Deflect Projectiles
After defeating the clones, the real Kung Fu Grape will once again attack with projectiles.
Like with the previous level, deflect the projectiles as the circle shrinks and glows with your counter move.

Sparkle Gem
You can get the Kung Fu levels' final Sparkle Gems after defeating the bosses. You won't miss these Sparkle Gems as defeating the bosses are required to finish the level, so you'll be able to collect some even if you miss the other, more hidden Sparkle Gems.
