Use your voice to command schools of fish as Mermaid Peach! Reach the end of the level to conduct a majestic underwater concerto!

Unlocked in Melody of the Sea

You can gain access to the Mermaid Peach Sparkle Costume in Melody of the Sea at the third floor! The stage features multiple tutorials that will aid you in future levels that use this sparkle.

How to Use Mermaid Peach

Use your voice as Mermaid Peach to control a school of fish that you can move around to collect coins and other things. Finish the level by performing an underwater concerto!

Use Fish to Open Clams

While controling the fish, go below the top shell of a clam then tilt the L Stick upwards to push it open.

Push Away Seaweed

The fish you control can also push away seaweed to reveal hidden objects.

Eels Can Be Controlled Too

Tilt the L Stick left or right while holding B in order to rotate eel. There can be coins and Sparkle Gems hiding with these creatures, so make sure you check!

Concert Minigame

Play a rhythm-style minigame by tilting your L Stick to the direction of the incoming fish while pressing B. Try to hit all the notes for a successful concert!

Mermaid Peach Controls

Basic Controls

Action
Sing	Press and hold B to sing. This will get the attention of nearby fish.
Control Fish	While holding B, move the L Stick to control the fish's movements. Fish can lift up clam shells to open them and move other objects.
Pose	Press ZL or ZR.

Concert Minigame Controls

During the concert in the Mermaid Peach level minigame, hold down the B button and tilt the L Stick to where the incoming fish are. This minigame is similar to a rhythm game where you try to hit all the notes (fish) following the rhythm of the music.

For longer fish, make sure you keep on holding the B button and the L Stick in the correct direction until you reach the fish's tail. It's safe to let go once this fish turns into a music note.

#	Melody of the Sea Sparkle Gem Locations
1	Use the Sparkle Ribbon on the pair of coconuts hanging on a tree in the first area.
2	Use the Sparkle Ribbon to hit all the corals along the wall during your ride with the turtle.
3	Control the school of fish with your voice to open the claim on the right side area of where you obtained the Mermaid Sparkle.
4	In the area when you chase after the abducted bandmates, use the fish to obtain the Sparkle Gem on the left side of a clam.
5	Open the clam on the left below the giant clam using the fish.
6	Open the seaweed barrier in the area after the giant clam using the fish.
7	In the part with the yellow eels blocking the way, use your voice to move the eels just enough for the Sparkle Gem to come out in the open.
8	Open the clam inside the hidden pose secret area below the overturned turtle.
9	Help the overturned turtle turn upright by using the fish.
10	Obtained at the end of the level by finishing the singing minigame perfectly.

Blight of the Sea Sparkle Gems

#	Blight of the Sea Sparkle Gem Locations
1	In the hidden pose secret area at the place with a lot of corrupted Theets and clams.
2	In a clam around the area with a lot of corrupted Theets and clams.
3	In a clam at the area where you follow the blighted ship.
4	Defeat the Blighted Ship boss.
5	Through some iron grates below the area when you enter the ship.
6	Save the bandmates trapped in a cage using the eel.
7	Perform the final concert perfectly.

1	Located within the Hidden Spotlight Area.
2	Obtained after freeing the Mermaid Sparkla from the giant clam.

5	Obtained after clearing all five whirlpools by singing with the Mermaid Sparkla.
