You first gain access to the Swordfighter Peach Sparkle Costume in The Castle of Thorns, the first level in the game! The stage features multiple tutorials that will aid you in future levels that use this sparkle.

How to Use Swordfighter Peach

Fight your way through enemies as Swordfighter Peach with a combo of slashes and time your dodges to enemy attacks to launch powerful counterattacks.

Combos

There are two combos that you have in your arsenal as Swordfighter Peach. A 3-hit combo from a standing position to beat up immobile enemies and a 4-hit combo while moving to stay mobile while attacking.

Dodge and Counter

For certain enemies, you are able to dodge them and do a counterattack. You will know it's the right time to dodge when there's a spotlight on an enemy as they are preparing to attack. For larger enemies, dodging their attacks such as shockwaves will also trigger the counterattack.

Action
Jump	Press A to jump. Hold A to jump higher.
Slash	Press B. You can press B two more times after for a 3-hit combo.
Forward Slash	Press B while moving in a direction with L Stick. You can press B three more times for a 4-hit combo while moving forward..
Jump Slash	Press B after jumping with A.
Dodge	Press A just as an enemy is about to attack you.
Counter	Press B after dodging with A to launch a counterattack.
Pose	Press ZL or ZR.

1	Obtained by clearing the enemies and pointing the Spotlight by using the flowers.
2	Located beside the door where you get the Dress Ribbon.
3	Use the Sparkle Ribbon to make the two flower pots bloom.
4	Defeat all the enemies after obtaining the Swordfighter Sparkle.
5	Clear the thorns near where the Swordfighter Sparkle is located.
6	Defeat the four knights after entering the tower.
7	Located in the hidden spot after defeating all the enemies inside.
8	Defeat the knights and the miniboss giant knight.
9	Located at a platform just outside the Final Boss' location.
10	Defeat the Plant Boss.

1	In a jar behind prison bars when you go up the stairs from the first area.
2	Save the two Theets by defeating all enemies when they attack.
3	Collect all 8 Sparkle Gem fragments in the area where there are falling platforms.
4	Clear the hidden pose secret area just after the Ribboner.
5	Inside one of the falling chest objects in the area just after the Ribboner.
6	Inside one of the jars just before the entrance to the boss battle.
7	Obtained after defeating the final boss.

1	Located in the first Hidden Pose Spotlight on the altar with 5 pots.
2	Behind some rubble and three conveniently placed pots.
