Downtown Grassland Waddle Dee Locations and Missions Walkthrough

Downtown Grassland Mission Completion Order

This stage has a total of three areas. Follow the table below to clear each mission in order.

Downtown Grassland Hidden Waddle Dee Locations

1: At the End of the Second Area

After you defeat the Wild Edge Mini Boss, you can rescue the Waddle Dee trapped in the cage.

2: Inside the Dome at the Beginning of the 3rd Area

Head right after entering the 3rd area to find a ladder. You will see a dome that you can use Mouthful Mode on. Opening the dome will reveal the captured Waddle Dee.

3: Inside the Tortuilding Shell

Defeating the Tortuilding at the end of the stage will reveal a cage containing the last Hidden Waddle Dee.

You'll need to break the pipe here in order to ride the water spout, so first hide behind it and allow the Tortuilding to bite it. After doing so, you will be able to break the pipe via Cone Mouth, ride the water, and then defeat the Tortuilding from above to reveal the third hidden Waddle Dee.

Downtown Grassland Tulip Locations

1: On top of a Stump in the First Area

The first Tulip can easily be seen on a stump at the beginning of the stage.

2: The Hidden Area Behind the Yellow Cage

Activating the switch in front of the yellow cage will lower it. After eating the cake, go through the opening on the left to find Star Coins and a tulip at the end.

3: On Top of a Barrel near Enemies

After getting Cone Mouth, you will proceed to an area that has several enemies and cannons. If you proceed to the left edge of the area, you will see a tulip on top of a barrel.

4: Behind the Tree Near the Tortorner

The tree near the Tortorner in the final area has a tulip behind it. Make sure not to miss it before completing the stage.

5: In the Area where the Buffahorn appears

As you scale the building to the final area, a Buffahorn will try to attack you. After dodging or defeating it, you will find the last tulip.

Downtown Grassland Shutter Location

Use Vending Mouth Mode to Break the Shutter

The shutter that you need to break in order to complete the Break the building's shutter mission is located near the vending machine used to activate Vending Mouth. Use the Soda Shoot ability to break it open.

Downtown Grassland Water Spout Location

Use Cone Mouth to Reach the Top

Use Cone Mouth on the pipe near the end of the area to create a water spout that you can ride to the top of the building. All you have to do is land on the ledge in order to complete this mission. Note that there is also a figure just after this area that can be picked up, so be sure not to leave it.

Downtown Grassland Figure Locations

1: On top of the Building of the Broken Shutter

After breaking the shutter, climb up the ladder inside the building to find a Figure capsule. Since breaking the shutter is one of this stage's missions, simply completing it and continuing ahead should make it easy to complete.

2: Inside the Crates Below the Ledge

After reaching the top of the ledge with Cone Mouth, use the Spike Down ability to smash the stacked crates to find another figure. Note that you can only reach this figure via the ledge.

3: On the ledge at the End of the Stage

The ledge that you need to climb to defeat the Tortuilding will have a Figure on it. Grab it before defeating the final enemy of this stage.
