How to Get Thorium Ore

Thorium Ores are located on the side of the cliffs in the Howling Sands region, the Desert Biome of the game. You can also find it inside desert caves, but it is easier to see and obtain them if you search on the surface.

Thorium Ores can be smelted at a Furnace and turned into Thorium Ingot, which can used to craft Thorium Tools, Weapons, and Armor.

Howling Sands Mining Sites

Look for these structures on the map whenever you're in Howling Sands. These locations are mining sites where you can find different ore deposits including Iron, Thorium, and Cobalt around or underneath the area.

Take note that there are plenty of enemies guarding the area, so be prepared for combat when visiting these POIs for the first time.
