Note: The stats shown in this page are the numerical representations of the bar display used to show weapon stats, in-game (above). Numbers will range from 0~9, with 0 being the lowest, and 9 being the highest.
Weapon Tier BLK Mods
Grounded 2 - BombucklerBombuckler II 8.1 Light Shield:
Perfect blocks with a light shield deal high stun, but normal blocks have lower protection.
Spicy Parry:
Perfect blocks deal spicy damage and sizzle to attackers.
Grounded 2 - Crimson BucklerCrimson Buckler I 8.05 Light Shield:
Perfect blocks with a light shield deal high stun, but normal blocks have lower protection.
Aggressively Perfect Block:
Perfect blocks deal damage and stun to attackers.
Grounded 2 - LadyguardLadyguard II 9 Heavy Shield:
Heavy shields fully block damage and don't drain as much stamina while blocking attacks.
Grounded 2 - Weevil ShieldWeevil Shield I 8 Light Shield:
Perfect blocks with a light shield deal high stun, but normal blocks have lower protection.

What are Shields?

Used to Block Attacks

Shields can block some damage off attacks to lessen the damage you take in combat. The damage reduction will depend on the shield's Block stat and its mods.

Do Perfect Blocks to Avoid Damage Completely

You can avoid taking damage completely by parrying or perfect blocking the attacks. Watch the attack carefully and raise your shield before the attack hits to do it!

Recommended for One-Handed Fighters

Shields are recommended for one-handed fighters, as they will be able to defend properly while battling on the frontline. It is also recommended for solo players as they will be able to manage their health effectively with a shield.
