The Red Soldier Ant Buggy is the earliest creature mount that you can obtain. It is unlocked after completing the 11th Story Quest, Egg Hunt, where you get a Red Soldier Ant Egg.
Riding the Red Soldier Ant Buggy lets you move faster and jump higher. It also acts as a second inventory for storing items and carrying building materials.

| How to Unlock | Complete Networking Story Quest |
|---|---|
| Hatch Time | 24 in-game hours |
| Required Saddle Ingredients | ・Blueberry Leather x3 ・Red Ant Mandibles x4 ・Acorn Shell x3 |
The Orb Weaver Buggy is unlocked after completing the 15th Story Quest, Networking, which is basically the last quest available in Early Access. At the end of the quest, you receive the Network Center Turbo Optical Disk in the room after the boss. Insert the disk into any Ranger Station to unlock the recipe for the Orb Weaver Buggy.
Like the Red Soldier Ant Buggy, it can also act as an additional storage and fast mobile transport, but the Orb Weaver Buggy has better offensive capabilities. It can sprint into enemies, shoot webs, and intimidate other insects by roaring. You can also cross web bridges while riding the buggy without getting tangled.

As confirmed on the Early Access roadmap by Obsidian, the Ladybug Buggy is coming in Winter 2025, with watery buggies following in Summer 2026. More unannounced buggies have also been confirmed!
In addition to new Buggies, several new features for Buggies have also been announced, such as Hotpouch on Buggies in Fall 2025 and PEEP.R on Buggies in Winter 2025. Additionally, Buggy mutations, customization, and progression has been announced for future updates!

To hatch an egg, you first have to build a Hatchery using Weed Stems, Acorn Tops, Acorn Shells, and Mite Fuzz. You then have to incubate the egg in the Hatchery using the saddle ingredients, which vary depending on the Buggy.
The egg will take hours to hatch (12 hours for Red Ant Buggy and 24 hours for the Orb Orb Weaver Buggy), so feel free to do other activities or sleep to pass the time faster.

When your Buggy takes enough damage, it will be knocked down. You must reach it and help it back up within 90 seconds. Failing to do so will result in its death.
If your Buggy dies, you must wait 4 real-life minutes before you can summon it again from your Buggies wheel. You can switch to a different Buggy while waiting for the dead one to return.
