① Follow the Story Quests until Egg Hunt ② Set Up a Base ③ Do Ranger Challenges and Onboarding Quests ④ Get Good Equipment ⑤ Always Analyze Resources ⑥ Scan Creatures Using Your PEEP.R ⑦ Explore the Park and Get the Best Gear |

Complete the story quests until Egg Hunt to gain access to the Red Soldier Ant Buggy as your mount. Getting the Ant Buggy early significantly speeds up your travel across the map.
This allows for quicker exploration and faster access to distant resources and objectives, as some areas are only reachable with its help. It also helps you carry resources and engage in combat against hostile creatures.

When setting up your primary base, it's crucial to pick an advantageous location that ensures safety from threats and proximity to essential resources.
The area just outside the Snackbar Outpost is the best starting base location. It provides convenient access to abundant essential early-game resources, and puts you right next to the Resource Analyzer for analyzing new resources and the Ranger Station for buying recipes.

Make sure to do the initial Ranger Challenges and Onboarding quests as you progress through the main story quests. These are designed to help familiarize you with various important buildings and core game features.
They serve as excellent tutorials for essential mechanics, guiding you through basic crafting, gathering, combat, and exploration.Completing them also provides valuable Raw Science, which is the primary currency of the game that you can use to buy advanced recipes on the Science Shop and to upgrade your Omni-Tools.
Once you've become familiar with the game's basics, it's time to start searching for better equipment. You can begin by acquiring the Acorn Set before committing to a specific class. The Acorn Set is a decent starter armor that will allow you to take on tougher foes and acquire even better gear.
Upgrading your equipment will significantly boost your survivability and combat effectiveness, making subsequent resource gathering in more dangerous areas far more manageable.

Make it a habit to always analyze any new resources you find at a Resource Analyzer, which is available at any Ranger Outpost. Analyzing resources earns you Raw Science and unlocks new recipes, allowing you to build structures and craft utilities, weapons, and armor, which is key to your progress throughout the game.

Scan creatures with your PEEP.R tool as soon as you encounter them. You'll gain information on their weaknesses, resistances, and potential drops, which will help you strategically craft weapons to exploit their weaknesses and give you a tactical advantage for more manageable combat.
Learning their drops will also help you figure out which creature to hunt for the resources needed in your recipes.

Starting from Story Quest 10 (The Art of War) and beyond, you'll encounter many challenging enemies as you progress. Before diving into these tougher encounters, we highly recommend you first explore the park, thoroughly scan creatures, collect and analyze resources, and craft better gear.
This preparation will significantly improve your chances of survival and success. You can also experiment with different classes during this time to discover which playstyle you're most comfortable with.
