Grounded 2 Storage

The Storage Basket and Storage Chest are the main early game storage options for players in Grounded 2. Learn where to store items, how to craft storage, and how to deposit items in them.

Where to Store Items

Crafted Storage Structures

Players can store their items in various storage structures they craft in Grounded 2. Discovering and analyzing new resources unlocks the recipes for these varied containers, each providing varying numbers of slots and unique functions for your inventory.

Storage Basket

The Storage Basket is the first storage space available to players, and it can hold up to 20 slots. You can unlock its recipe by analyzing a Clover Leaf at a Resource Analyzer. Once the recipe is learned, you can craft the Storage Basket using 4 Clover Leaf and 3 Crude Rope.

Storage Chest

Storage Chest

The Storage Chest is the next storage solution players unlock early in the game, offering an expanded capacity of up to 40 slots. Its recipe can be unlocked by analyzing an Acorn Shell at a Resource Analyzer. Crafting the Storage Chest requires 2 Clover Leaf, 4 Acorn Shell, and 4 Sap.

How to Deposit Items

Open Storage with E then Press F to Deposit

To deposit items into any storage container, such as a Storage Basket or Storage Chest, first open it by pressing E. This will bring up the storage interface, allowing you to move items from your inventory into the container. Then, press F to initiate the transfer.

You can also press N to quick store items when in proximity of the storage containters, without facing them directly.
