The only high-level gear you need for a Ranger setup is the Marksman's Cap. It allows you to complete the Ranger Armor set with the Grub armor and leggings while also granting a flat damage bonus to your bow shots. For the armor and leggings, all you need is the Grub set, which gives you Quickcharge.

Quickcharge is extremely good for a Ranger since you have limited ammo, and a charged shot allows you to maximize all the ammo in your inventory.

Grub Set is a Better Set Than Bee

The Grub Set's main skill Quickcharge is a much stable skill than what the Bee Set can offer. Since most of your damage output comes from charged attacks, the Quickcharge lets you fire much more arrows in a shorter timeframe.

We want to have high damage and critical strike chance, and Wolf Stringer gives you the best of both worlds. It does require you to take down a Wolf Spider so if you haven't taken on down yet or haven't found one in the wild, you can settle for a Spider Stringer which is a weaker weapon but still works well with this build.

Nifty Needle is the easiest trinket to craft for this build while providing a decent damage output increase. While there may be more trinket options out there, you can settle for the Nifty Needle as this trinket synergizes with this setup extremely well.

Start Fights With Ambush Attacks

Whenever a target is in sight, always ensure that you start the fight with a charged ambush. This will deal high amounts of damage and guarantee a much easier battle in the long run.

Maximize Arrow Shots By Only Using Charged Shots

In every fight, you want to ensure that you're only using charged attacks to maximize your arrow count. While you can pick up arrows, it is better to stock up on a decent amount of arrows, but not too many that it clogs your inventory. To balance your damage and inventory slots, try to ensure that every bow shot you fire counts.
