This is a guide on how to heal yourself in Grounded 2. Learn more about healing and what are the best healing items that you can craft in the game!
List of Contents

To heal yourself, consume food or use healing items such as the Fiber Bandage on your Inventory. But we recommend equipping at least one healing item on your hotbar for quick access when needed.
Note that when using a Fiber Bandage, a teal bar appears on your health bar before you're actually healed. If you're attacked or interrupted before the teal bar fills, the healing will be cancelled.

You can craft healing items via the Crafting tab in the Menu. One of the first recipes you'll unlock is the Fiber Bandage, which only requires 1 Plant Fiber and 1 Sap to craft. Scanning new resources that you find with the Resource Analyzer will also unlock better healing recipes.

There are also plenty of heals or snacks scattered around the world, such as Grumble’s Granola Bars, which can be usually found in bases. They heal instantly and restore a good amount of health, perfect for when you’ve run out of healing items and need a quick heal.
Just remember that some of these “snacks” are not respawnable, so consume them strategically.
Naturally, you might think cooked food is a good source of healing. While it does heal you, filling up your HP bar takes time. Cooked food is better used to replenish your Hunger meter. Bring some along only if you're going on long journeys and need to maintain your vitals
