How to Change FOV
FOV can be changed from the Display Settings in Grounded 2. Learn how to change the Field of View and the effects of increasing or decreasing it.
How to Change FOV
Change From Settings, Display, then Field of View
To change your Field of View, go to the game's settings, head to the Display tab, and head to the bottom-most section to find Field of View.
Best Field of View Settings
Lower to Increase Camera Focus
Lowering the Field of View allows you to increase your camera's focus. It zooms in further and grants you a more detailed view inside the game. However, this has the negative of lessening the vision you see around your character.
Increase to Widen Camera View
Increasing the Field of View allows you to widen your visual area and see more of the world. It's perfect for scouting the environment as well as looking at the world's scenery. However, this has the downside of having a harder time with focused vision, which makes it difficult to see targets near you or in front of you.
Highly Recommended to Be Unchanged
The game's Field of View is designed to be kept at 90. While it can be changed, keeping it at the original value will prove to be a better experience, and tweaking it may negatively change the game experience as well as the game's performance.
