Around the Base of the Oak Tree
Acorns are mostly found around the area beneath the Oak Tree. Search the area near the foot of the tree and you'll see several scattered on the ground. You can easily break them apart using your Omni-Tool Hammer to collect various acorn parts, such as Acorn Tops, Acorn Shells, and Acorn Bits.

Acorn Tops are the hollow caps part of an acorn. They are typically used for building structures.
Acorn Shells
Acorn Shells are the hollow hard part of an acorn used for armor plating and building structures.

Acorn Bits are the edible parts collected from breaking an acorn. It can be eaten as is, cooked along with other edible reources, or used as an ingredient for a juice.
