What Happens if You Fail A Strange Warning

You can fail the Strange Warning quest if you die against the enemy bugs or leave the area in Grounded 2. Learn how to trigger defeating the Stranger's forces again and what happens when you fail the Strange Warning quest.

Wait for 2 In-Game Days

Threat Warning - A Strange Warning

While the Stranger doesn't provide an instruction on how to retry, all you have to do is wait 1 in-game day. Once a day has passed, she'll contact you again to say that another wave is incoming. However, that wave will only come after yet another day (making it a total of 2 days since the previous attempt).

After the stranger contacts you for a retry, a purple hourglass icon on the upper right screen will appear. This is a timer for the quest to begin again, while this timer is still counting down you won't be able to rest to pass the time.

You Can Try Again After 2 In-Game Days

A Strange Warning

A Strange Warning is a quest where you'll have to fend off a wave of bugs from a stranger. Failing the quest (either by leaving the designated zone or dying to the bugs) will cause the quest to fail.

You can retry the quest by waiting 2 in-game days for another wave challenge. Defeating the Stranger's Forces is a regular in-game event that occurs every couple of in-game days, even after you've completed the quest.
