*Only available in the HD version of the game.
Orca trains you to use a sword early in the game with a similar mini game. However, you do not have a shield, and he does not strike. Orca only pushes you back when you have done the wrong inputs.
You will receive the Hero's Sword after the tutorial. You will not gain any other rewards during this part of the game, but it is best to take note of the controls. This will be vital to playing the game and mastering this mini game later on.
Orca strikes faster the more hits you land on him. It is best to land a few attacks on Orca before quickly holding your shield up. Wait for him to land his attacks before attacking again.
Parry attacks count as two hits. Since Orca becomes faster the more hits you land at once, it is best not to parry. It might leave you more open to getting hit since they don't always dodge Orca's attacks.
