| Step | Walkthrough |
|---|---|
| 1 | After completing the Forsaken Fortress dungeon and obtaining the Delivery Bag, talk to Zunari on Windfall Island (D2). He will tell you that he has opened his shop but he needs more items to sell. |
| 2 | Talk to him again and accept his request. He will ask you to get some rare items from travelling merchants. He will give you a Town Flower, which you need to give to a merchant to start the entire trading sequence. |
| * | You need a total of 560 Rupees to complete this quest this way. It is also recommended to get the Ballad of Gales song to make traveling faster, but it is not required. |
| 3 | Head to Greatfish Isle (B4) and speak to the Goron standing on a raft. He will offer you a Sea Flower for your Town Flower. Pay him 20 Rupees to complete the exchange. |
| 4 | Speak to the same Goron on Greatfish Isle and he will offer you an Exotic Flower for your Sea Flower. Pay him 25 Rupees to complete the deal. |
| * | At this point, you can head back to Windfall Island and talk to Zunari as he has a Town Flower, Sea Flower, and Exotic Flower for his shop. He will give you the Magic Armor equipment as a reward for helping him out! |
| 5 | Travel to Forest Haven and sail to Bomb Island (F5). Speak to the Goron on the island and exchange your Exotic Flower for a Sickle Moon Flag. Give him 40 Rupees to complete the deal. |
| 6 | Speak to the same Goron again and trade your Sickle Moon Flag for a Fountain Idol, then pay him 65 Rupees. |
| 7 | Next, travel to Tingle Island (C3) and sail to the Mother and Child Isles (B2). You need to warp outside of the area so you won't be put inside the formation. Speak to the Goron and trade your Fountain Idol for a Big Sale Flag and pay 35 Rupees. |
| 8 | Warp back to Greatfish Isle (B4) and trade your Big Sale Flag for a Hero's Flag for 75 Rupees. |
| 9 | Talk to the same Goron and trade the Hero's Flag for a Postman Statue for 100 Rupees. |
| 10 | Warp to Tingle Island (C3), sail to the Mother and Child Isles (B2), and speak to the merchant. Trade your Postman Statue for a Shop Guru Statue and pay 200 Rupees. |
| 11 | Warp to Greatfish Isle (B4) and speak to the merchant. He will be surprised that you have a Shop Guru Statue and will give you a Heart Piece. |
The guide above is the most efficient way to complete the Island Trading sequence, which will net you the Magic Armor, a Heart Piece, and a couple of decorative items for Windfall Island.
It is recommended to unlock the Ballad of Gales song first before starting the sequence as you will fast travel between three islands throughout the quest. This song will be unlocked once you complete the Tower of the Gods dungeon.
You will also spend a total of 560 Rupees during this quest, so make sure to stock up on money and upgrade your wallet size.

There are still three items that you can get after getting the Heart Piece from the Greatfish Isle merchant if you want to Zunari to sell all possible items from his shop. This will then set the total cost of Rupees required to 775, as you need to exchange three more items from the merchants.
All of the items that you need to trade for the items are sold by Zunari on Windfall Island, so you can purchase these from him if you don't have one in your inventory.

Each merchant can only trade items for three times per day. If you ever reach this limit, use the Song of Passing to advance time and remove the limit, allowing you to trade items again!

The Goron merchant on Greatfish Isle can be found on a raft near a beach on the area. The merchant is wearing a blue shirt.

The Goron merchant on Bomb Island can be found in the middle of the island. To get there, warp to Forest Haven and sail to the next area.
The merchant is wearing a white shirt and can be found walking along the slope.

The Goron merchant on the Mother and Child Isles can be found on the small island. To get there, warp to Tingle Island to have an easier time navigating the area.
The merchant is wearing a red shirt.

The first main reward of the Island Trading sequence is the Magic Armor, which makes Link invulnerable to attacks when equipped.
To obtain this item, all you need to do is to trade the Town Flower for a Sea Flower and the Sea Flower for an Exotic Flower. After doing so, speak to Zunari on Windfall Island to get this equipment.

The second main reward of this questline is a Heart Piece, which you can get once you offer a Shop Guru Statue to the Greatfish Isle merchant.
You need to exchange a couple of items with the three merchants in the game before you can get the Shop Guru Statue.
