How to Light the Lighthouse

Shoot a Fire Arrow to light the lighthouse in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Read on to learn how to light the lighthouse on Windfall Island and the rewards you can get after lighting it!

Shoot a Fire Arrow

Lighthouse Step 1
After activating the ferris wheel, jump on one of the wooden gondolas.

Make sure you've obtained the Fire and Ice Arrow upgrade first, which you can get after completing the Tower of the Gods.

Lighthouse Step 2
When you're near the peak of the wheel, aim your bow towards one of the openings that are rotating.

Lighthouse Step 3
Shoot a Fire Arrow inside the opening to light the torch.

Lighthouse Step 4
The lighthouse will start shining light on nearby areas.

You can light the lighthouse on Windfall Island once you activate the ferris wheel found on the same building.

Lighthouse Rewards

Get a Heart Piece from Kreeb

Heart Piece from Kreeb

After lighting the lighthouse, head back down the staircase below the ferris wheel and speak to Kreeb. He will thank you for lighting the lighthouse and give you a Heart Piece.

Heart Piece Locations: All 44 Pieces of Heart

Get Heart Piece from a Chest

Heart Piece from Treasure Chest

You can also get another Heart Piece from a treasure chest which will be shown in the cutscene once you light the lighthouse. This is found on a small island south of Windfall Island, which you can reach by gliding across the air with a Deku Leaf or swimming.
