The HD Version makes the hunt for Triforce Shards faster by removing the need for Charts. While some Shards still have Charts associated with them, the rest can be obtained by the player without any guidance.

How to Find Triforce Charts
Get the IN-Credible Chart
The IN-Credible Chart shows you the locations of most of the Triforce Charts, which can help you collect them faster.
To obtain the IN-Credible Chart, you must free Tingle from jail. The chart will show up in the postbox before you begin to hunt for the Triforce Shards.
Get the Ghost Ship Chart
Depending on the version, you will find either a Triforce Chart or a Triforce Shard in the Ghost Ship. Its location changes depending on the phase of the moon, so you might want to obtain the Ghost Ship Chart to assist you in finding it.
The Ghost Ship Chart is located in a secret cavern in Diamond Steppe Island (A6). You will have to open the chest at the end of the Warp Jar puzzle, which requires the Hookshot.
