You can get the Picto Box from Tingle's jail cell on Windfall Island in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Learn all about the Picto Box, how to get and use it, as well as how to solve the jail maze!

| 3 | Once you follow the path, you will reach a secret area. |
| 4 | Open the treasure chest to get your own Picto Box! |
You can get the Picto Box from a secret passage found near Tingle's jail cell on Windfall Island.

The Picto Box can be upgraded into the Deluxe Picto Box after completing Lenzo's Picto Box quest on Windfall Island where you will be tasked to take three pictures.
If you are playing the original version, you also need to give Lenzo a Forest Firefly, which you can get by capturing a firefly in Forest Haven with an Empty Bottle.
Once you complete the quest, Lenzo will upgrade your camera which now allows you to take colored pictographs!

The Picto Box is like a camera that you can use to take black-and-white pictures in the game. While aiming the camera, you can zoom or look around to adjust the pictograph that you want to take.
If you are playing the original GameCube version, the Picto Box can store up to three pictographs, while you can store up to 12 if you are playing the HD remake.
