Water all withered Korok Trees with Forest Water in order to obtain a Heart Piece in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Read on for all the Korok Locations, a guide on this withered tree side quest, and the rewards for completing it!

While you can water the withered Korok Trees in any order, this route that saves you the most time. This is useful if you are playing the original version, which has a shorter time limit and no Swift Sail.

Sail east from Forest Haven. Enter the cavern from the hole on the ground upon reaching the isle. Reach the opposite side of the cavern and use the warp there. You will see the withered tree upon exiting.
Cliff Plateau Isles Location Guide

Warp to Southern Fairy Island then sail west. The tree will be on the smaller side of the island near the peg.

Warp to Greatfish Isle and land on the southeast island with the spiraling pathway. Walk up to the top to find the withered tree.

Sail southwest after warping to Greatfish Isle. The tree is near a chest at the end of the isle that is opposite to the needle rock.
Needle Rock Isle Location Guide

Warp to the Tower of the Gods and sail south. You will find the withered tree near the oasis at the center of the island.

Warp to the Tower of the Gods and sail north. The withered tree will be outside the cavern.
Eastern Fairy Island Location Guide

Warp to Tingle Island then sail northwest. Climb up Child Isle to find the withered tree.
Mother & Child Isles Location Guide

Sail north of Child Isle. The tree will be at the center of Star Island.

You may talk to the Great Deku Tree in Forest Haven after going through the Tower of the Gods. He will mark the locations of the withered Korok Trees on your Sea Chart.

Use an empty bottle to gather some Forest Water in Forest Haven. It has infinite uses and will be able to revive withered trees. However, it will only have these properties for 20 minutes in the original version or 30 minutes in the HD version. It will turn into ordinary water afterwards. You may water the trees in any order.
The timer will not be visible on the screen. However, you may talk to any of the Koroks involved in the side quest in order to find out how much time you have left.

You are able attempt this side quest without the ability to warp. However, it becomes doable within the time limit when you have learned the Ballad of Gales. This song allows you to warp to set points in the map. This is required in the original version of the game, as it has a shorter time limit for the side quest.
You may learn this song from Cyclos after getting caught in one of his cyclones. You must hit him with an arrow 3 times.

The Swift Sail is an item exclusive to the HD version of the game. is an upgrade to the regular Sail which makes the boat move faster. The Swift Sail also guarantees that the wind is always favoring Link and the boat, so you do not need to follow the overworld wind direction while sailing.
Using the Swift Sail will make this side quest faster. To obtain it, you will need to win it from Zunari's auction at the Auction House on Windfall Island.
How to Get the Swift Sail

You may want a figurine of each Korok Tree for the Nintendo Gallery. To obtain them, you must take a picture of each one using the Deluxe Picto Box.

After watering the last tree, it will immediately grow in size. It will drop a Piece of Heart, which you can grab.
