Contract: Strange Beast Walkthrough
How to Get
Pick up and read the Notice Contract: Monster on the High Road on the Notice Board at Larvik in the east part of the Skellige Isles. You can also get this quest if you go directly to the ambush site and examine the clues.
Main Objectives

| 1 | Go and speak with Thorleif about the details of the contract. |
| 2 | Go and speak with Sverre and Kaspar, then ask about the monster. |
| 3 | Go to the ambush site and investigate the area using your Witcher Senses. |
| 4 | Follow the footprints using your Witcher Senses and enter the cave. |
| 5 | Defeat Hagubman and the other Nekkers. |
| 6 | Go back and speak to Thorleif and receive your reward. |

Combat Strategies
Nekkers
- Coat your Silver Sword with Ogroid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
- Cast the Aard Sign or throw a Northern Wind Bomb to disable multiple enemies and give yourself an opening to attack.
Hagubman (Nekker Warrior)
- Coat your Silver Sword with Ogroid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
- Cast the Aard Sign or throw a Northern Wind Bomb to disable multiple enemies and give yourself an opening to attack.
- Cast the Axii Sign on it to stun it a give yourself a large opening to attack.
- When you deal a certain amount of damage to it, it will summon more Nekkers to fight you. You will have to defeat these Nekkers in order for him to appear again.
