Fighting an Ancient Leshen is like fighting a normal Leshen but, significantly more powerful. The best way to fight an Ancient Leshen is to ignite it as much as possible. You can do this by casting the Igni Sign on it repeatedly or by throwing bombs like the Dragon's Dream Bomb or the Dancing Star Bomb.
Whenever the Ancient Leshen summons wolves to aid it, it is recommended to take out the wolves first before focusing back on the Ancient Leshen. Also, when a Ancient Leshen disappears in a cloud of smoke, this can be used as a good time to throw bombs to ignite it when it fully reappears again.
You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Relict oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare bombs that can ignite the enemy like Dragon's Dream Bombs and Dancing Star Bombs.
