whatd u guys think of the game? i found it a bit weird by the end? like it felt too big and also not big enough
id do it if i were you i dont think people care here, plus its not a walkthrough page so people wouldnt go here if they havent finished the game
are we allowed to discuss endgame opinions here??? or is this a spoiler free zone
video games can do inception but movies could never do peggle, thats my hot take ladies and gentlemen
Books lack the agency of the player, the reader feels like they're watching but the player feels like they're doing, ya feel?
also, books can infinitely build a world for the very reason that its cheap to make them... a game about the witcher might cost millions of dollars to show this part of the story, but like a novel and a short story anthology would cost a fraction that price
luckily for you, there's a mod that does just that i think! google it and iirc it's on the nexus
i think the mindfuck aspect can be done well. bioshock 1 and infiinites twist had me screaming, as did god of war (i just love god of war)
hello is there any way to make geralt in game look like henry cavill like in the netflix series? i like his character a lot there and thats where i started witcher
idk there are certain movies that dont translate well to games like i cant think of a movie translation to inception
if u played god of war it kinda mixed the best of both worlds... i think witcher comes alive too not in its main story, but in all the side stories that could never be told in one movie
i think the problem with games over movies is that sometimes its hard to frame the specific important elements unlike what u can do with the control of movies
it is because they have more space to tell the story, they can do tangents and whatnot and they're not confined to a 2 hour runtime, which is why i like games and books better than movies
In fairness, most of the best worlds come from books. Game of Thrones still has so much going on beneath the story in the books, that's why there's the meme of the book always being better than the movie. Because it is.
I think the cutscenes are kind of obvious when you're leaning into them... just be careful when interacting with attractive women in general
just dont play it lol witcher is a game for adults so if ur kids are likely to watch ur gonna have a bad time
its 2020 nobody reads anymore only nerds read books the only thing i read are buzzfeed quizzes and memes hahaha /s
Hi, how do I know when this is safe to play? I got it recently but my PC is in my living room so my kids watch me play and I don't want them to see any mature content. Is there a warning or a way to disable it?
why wouldnt the next step be the books tho
good thing your anonymus i would be so embarassed if i were u heck im embarassed for u right now LOL
its not part of the main story, hell its not even part of the third game its been 13 years since the game with this scene has been released chill
spoilers!!! >:( fuck you mark your fucking story spoilers not all of us have played it you know
its cause he hasnt underwent the trial of the grasses, which is what gives them the eyes. i think i remember them saying that at this point they forgot how to make new witchers
LEO LOOKS SO INNOCENT AND PRECIOUS WTFFF I CANT BEAR TO WATCH HIM DIE IN HD NOW he doesnt even have witcher eyes omg
kinda cringe bro
the card game, then the show, then the video game, the next step is obviously the tabletop game
https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2767/? here you go!
good luck, very few good mods. if you want a moddable game just play skyrim, but witcher without mods is just as good as a fully modded skyrim
Dude, i love playing Gwent! it actually introduced me to the witcher series hahaha, After seeing the Netflix series i though i should try it out. Best RPG ive ever played hands down.
I've been playing the new Gwent lately and though i'd play the Witcher 3 again. Goddamn it's as good as i remember it!
