The key to hitting Split Conversions while playing Bowling in Nintendo Switch Sports is to aim for one the pin's outer edge and use the Hook maneuver when needed. Read on to learn the tips and tricks to hit Split Conversions.
How to Hit Split Conversions in Bowling |
---|
If you encounter two non-adjacent bowling pins, this is known as a Split. To hit both of the pins, aim for one of the pins' outer edge so it can knock over the other pin.
Be sure not to hit one of the pins head-on as this causes it knock backwards towards the gutter, leaving you with one pin on the lane.
If there are 3 non-adjacent pins left in the lane, aim in the middle of the two pins to hit them all and score a Split Conversion.
You can also use the Hook maneuver to curve the ball slightly towards the direction of the middle part to hit all the pins in the process.
There are rare occasions where you will encounter three pins on the right side and one pin on the left side of the lane. Aim at the corner of the lane that has the three pins and throw the bowling ball in a straight line.
Depending on the speed of the ball, you can hit all four pins if one of them slides towards the opposite lane and hits the other pin in the process.
Zooming in on the lane allows you to aim in the area where you pinpoint the pin's outer edge. Press the top button on the Joy-Con (Up or X button) to zoom in on the pins before throwing the bowling ball.
How to Do the Hook | Simply twist the controller while in swinging motion to make the ball spin |

You can use the Hook maneuver for the bowling ball to curve towards the direction you want and knocking one of the pins over, allowing you to score a Split Conversion.
