Nintendo Switch Sports Online Play Test allowed digital sports enthusiasts to play the game early on February 18 to 20, 2022. Read on to learn more information on its release date and how players were able to participate!

When is the Online Play Test?

Started on Feb. 18 and Ended on Feb. 20

Availability Date	02/18/22 ~ 02/20/22 (Already Ended)

You can only access the Online Play Test on these dates. The game won't work after that, and your progress won't be carried over when the game releases.

You can only play the test game at these times. You can still open the game afterward, but it won't be playable once you get past those times.

How to Participate in the Play Test

Register in Nintendo Official Site

Steps	Guide
1	Visit the dedicated My Nintendo reward page and review the Online Play Test.
	Select Redeem on the page to get a download code. Sign in to your Nintendo Account or create one to get it.
2	Redeem the code through the Nintendo eShop or website to download the Switch Sports Online Play Test.
	To enter the code using Nintendo eShop, visit Nintendo eShop from your Nintendo Switch and select Redeem Code on the menu, located at the bottom left of the screen.
	To enter the code in the web, visit Nintendo Redeem page and type the code.
3	Download the Online Play Test on your device and wait for available dates to come and start playing!

Registration started on February 15, at 5 pm PST, until after the Online Play Test began on February 18.

Nintendo Switch Online Subscription is Required

You will need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member to participate in the Switch Sports Online Play Test. You won't be able to redeem a download code or download the game even if you have a valid code in your possession.
