Grass Court Tips

Attack with Powerful Topspins

Nintendo Switch Sports - Grass Court Topspins

Topspins makes the ball travel faster and bounce quicker, which gives less time for the receiver to react if the ball bounces low after landing. Take advantage of this when playing at grass courts and make your shots zip past your opponents!

Aim Your Shots To Both Sides

Nintendo Switch Sports - Grass Court Aiming Shots

Drain your opponent's stamina by sending the ball on the left and right side of their field and force them to run back and forth while chasing the ball.

Your opponent will struggle chasing the ball left and right when playing at grass courts especially if you send the ball alternately on both sides of the court.

Grass Court Features

Chosen at Random

Nintendo Switch Sports - Grass Court

If you play a tennis match, the court you will play on will be chosen at random, regardless if you play locally or online.

If you are playing locally and would like to play at this court, you can start and quit the match until you get it.

Local and Online Multiplayer Features

Balls Will Bounce Lower

Due to the grass laid out all over the court, the ball will bounce lower after landing. This will reduce the time players can react after the ball lands on their side of the court.

Rallies are Harder to Maintain

Rallies will be harder to maintain due to the ball bouncing lower after bouncing. This will be more apparent when both you and your opponent are both aiming to tire each other out.
