Sap is a crafting resource in Grounded 2. Read on to learn how to get Sap and what Sap is used for, in-game.

How to Get Sap
Obtained from Tree Roots or Sap Clumps
Sap is a common resource that can be found lining the different tree and plant roots you encounter in the open world. Look for small, amber orbs jutting from roots to find sap.
Alternatively, if you have an Omni-Hammer handy, you can break down Sap Clumps that form on these roots. These net you a bunch of sap compared to the singular pickups you normally get.
Construct a Sap Catcher to Gain Sap from a Single Location
If you want to farm sap without having to leave your base (or its vicinity), you can construct a Sap Catcher and attach it to a nearby tree or plant root. This structure will passively collect sap that you can harvest after a certain amount of time has passed.
