Counterattack 2/3 After a successful counterattack, the next attack deals +30% damage per skill level with a chance for knockdown based on the number of Adrenaline Points.
Adrenaline Point gain: +2%
Counterattack 3/3 After a successful counterattack, the next attack deals +30% damage per skill level and is a critical hit with a chance for knockdown based on the number of Adrenaline Points.
Adrenaline Point gain: +3%

Is Counterattack Worth It?

We do not recommend spending points into Counterattack

Do to its somewhat niche nature or lack of utility, we do not recommend investing into this skill. Generally speaking, your points will better be spent elsewhere. However, there are some builds that may make use of this skill, so only in those instances should you invest your points here.

Counterattacking in the game can be very hard to achieve. Most enemies need you to make multiple preparations to be able to counterattack them. Getting this skill would require you to invest at least 20 points in the Combat Branch and the benefits you get from this skill is not worth it for the investment you make.

Conclusion

Unless your combat is based on counterattacking then starting an attack combo, then it is not worth it to get this skill. We would recommend that you use your skill points on other skills rather than investing it on this skill.
