There are two ways to upgrade weapons and suit in the game. Read on to learn the better method for acquiring upgrades, the pros and cons, and how to change the weapon's appearance.
Upgrades can be found primarily on Mr. Keeps shops as he offers a wide variety of upgrades for weapons and suit . You can purchase specific upgrades for Kenny, Gus, Sweezy, and Creature

Upgrades can also be found inside of random Luglox that can be found scattered througout the game.

Upgrades are automatically equipped when you acquire them. Mods are the enhancements that need to be manually equipped.
Although luglox crates provide free upgrades, there is no certainty of the upgrades you can acquire from them. Mr. Keeps and other shops offer a wide selection of upgrades and give you an idea of what you want to purchase. It will also depend on your playstyle, as both methods will provide the same upgrades.
Mods can make a weapon more effective, increase damage, or allow specific abilities to perform better. Equipping mods for Gatlians not only alter the weapon's properties but their appearance as well.
