High on Life - How to Preload

High on Life is now available to preload on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC Game Pass. Read on to learn how to preload the game on Xbox and PC, as well as find out if preloading is available for players who pre-ordered via Epic Games and Steam.

Is Preloading Available?

Preloads are Only Available for Xbox and Game Pass Users

At the time of writing, only the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass holders will be able to preload the game. On PC, players will need to have a PC Game Pass subscription in order to pre-install the game.

Epic Games and Steam Currently Have No Option to Preload

Currently, players who have pre-purchased High on Life via the Epic Games Store or have wishlisted the game on Steam will not have the option to preload it. Unlike on console, the only way to preload on PC is to get the PC Game Pass.

Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One Xbox Game Pass PC Game Pass

Pre-Order on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

To preload the game on console, players will first need to pre-order the game from the Xbox Store. Once purchased, head to your library or the game's Xbox Store page and select the option to Pre-Install the game ahead of launch. This should allow you to preload the game in preparation for release on December 13, 2022.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

Go to the Xbox Game Pass App from your home screen. Browse through the available titles and look for High on Life. Select it and choose the option to Pre-Install to preload the game ahead of launch.

PC Game Pass Subscribers

How to Preload High on Life for PC

For PC Game Pass subscribers, start by launching the Xbox Game Pass App on your PC. From there, use the Search Bar to look for the High on Life store page and select the option to Pre-Install the game ahead of launch.
