In High on Life, a bug can sometimes occur that prevents you from interacting with merchants outside of Blim City and buying their items. Read on to learn more about this bug and how to fix it when it happens.

High on Life - Prevents Players from Buying Shop Items
When visiting shops outside of Blim City, a bug can sometimes occur that prevents you from interacting with the merchants and buying their items.

How to Fix Can't Buy from Merchant Bug

Clear Out All Enemies

High on Life - Clear Out All Enemies
If you can't seem to purchase items from a merchant, double-check that you've cleared out all of the enemies in the nearby area, as they can prevent you from performing non-combat actions.

Reload a Previous Checkpoint

High on Life - Reload a Prior Checkpoint
If you have cleared out all nearby enemies and you still face the bug, reloading a previous checkpoint using the Last Checkpoint button in the Pause screen often fixes the issue and lets you purchase items the next time you visit the shop.
