Type Equipment
Pull out one of these and press A to throw it or R to set it down. Use bombs while on your boat to fire them with a large cannon.

Pickup from Overworld

Getting Arrows

Bombs are commonly obtained from cutting grass, breaking pots and jars, and defeating enemies in the overworld. If you run out of bombs to use in combat, try cutting grass or defeating enemies nearby to stock up.

Purchase from Beedle

Buying Bombs from Beedle

You can also purchase bombs from Beedle's Shop Ship, which you can find sailing near beaches on some islands.

Sea Chart: All Islands in the Great Sea

Purchase from Bomb-Master Cannon

Bomb-Master Cannon also sells bombs. You can find his shop on Windfall Island

How to Upgrade the Bomb Bag

Talk to Fairy on Southern Fairy Island for First Upgrade

First Bomb Upgrade

To get the first Bomb Bag upgrade, sail towards Southern Fairy Island and head to the island with a shell. Use a bomb to destroy the wooden board blocking the building and head inside to talk to a Great Fairy.

The fairy will upgrade your Bomb Bag so you can hold up to 60 bombs.

Talk to Fairy on Eastern Fairy Island for Second Upgrade

First Quiver Upgrade

To get the secoond Bomb Bag upgrade, sail towards Eastern Fairy Island and head to the island with a shell. Use the boat's cannon to destroy the boulder blocking the building and head inside to talk to a Great Fairy.

The fairy will upgrade your Bomb Bag so you can hold up to 99 bombs.
